This was my first attempt at using inks to create various effects. It was also an experiment of sorts so when I created it, I used a very small piece of bristol board.
The drawing actually began with black ink and an outline of the birds, shore and horizon. Afterward I used the colored inks to create water and sky as well as beach texture.
Just a silly little drawing but I gained more experience and knowledge on the use of inks as washes from it.
