The hotel in Wiesbaden, called the American Arms, had a circular stairwell that just fascinated me for some reason. Almost daily I would pause to look down it at the foyer below.

I think what drew me to draw it was the way it had that mirror of a mirror to infinity feel. The light streaming in from above but only catching one side also drew me to gaze upon it.

Rumor has it this hotel has been turned back over to the German government or will be knocked down. It's been there since the 50's and is old. Rooms were nice though. Progress must march forward! I'm glad I got to draw it before it was gone forever.
