Fabriano Down Under: Book #5

PAGE 42

My 44th birthday has past. I'm officially the age I have dreaded for nearly 31 years now. So far, so good. But it's on my mind.

So I drew the hands of a clock at precisely 4:44 p.m. I say p.m. because I'm at the later half of my life so an afternoon time would be more appropriate.

Then I set about drawing the gears of the clock. For the mechanically adept, you will notice the gears are arranged in such a way as to prevent any gear from moving ever. They are stuck that way, and so is that clock.

Just my funny way of dealing with my dreaded age.
