Fabriano Down Under: Book #5

PAGE 38

One evening, while listening to a song about a horse and a cherry tree, I was inspired to draw. But inspired in a very specific way.

I was thinking about shapes and negative space and what not. So off I went to draw another face (which I enjoy the most) but without using a single line to define the profile.

If you look closely, the entire profile is defined by the ends of lines that are there for other purposes. So it's her lips, her hair and the background around her that define her. She is not really there.

To understand why I named it this way would take 2 or 3 squirrel updates at least. So forget about it.
