This drawing began with a purpose. The last drawing inspired me to make another attempt at creating facial features without actually drawing them directly.

I began with the black figures that would represent the eyes. The white figures came next to give the neck and shoulder structure for which to keep a proper proportion. Then I drew in the hair.

After that I got lazy. I just drew a nose, mouth and some ear structures. I gave it some depth with the circles and gave up.

I need to keep practicing these types of drawings because I know I'll do one really well someday, I can feel it!
